Meet Stephanie Ortiz, LCSW

Clinical Expertise

I have worked at various levels of care, including detox, residential, inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient, treating both mental health and substance use disorders. Some of my proudest achievements stateside involve providing trauma-informed care to our nation’s Veterans at the Gulf Coast VA in Biloxi. There, I  supported those navigating TBI, combat-related PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and substance use disorders. Internationally, I have worked in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, assisting victims of drug and sex trafficking.

Education and Certifications

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. I am board certified through the ASWB as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and licensed to practice in the state of Florida. As part of my commitment to clinical excellence, I am currently pursuing my Level II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) certification to deepen my specialization in trauma-informed care.

 I remain committed to serving through my involvement at The Church of Eleven22, where I serve on the Welcome Team and as a Mission Ambassador, sending teams out around the globe. I strive to maintain a heart posture of helping others. Serving isn’t just something I talk about — it’s a lifestyle I actively live.

We are intentional about investing in lives beyond the moment — and sometimes that means getting muddy in the process. When we’re not serving hands-on, we continue that commitment through child sponsorship in Brazil, support of local and international missionaries, and mentoring emerging professionals.
